- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆Staff here seem to be more interested in service efficiency than good food. The flake is good quality, but they only leave it in the oil for about 2 minutes, hardly enough time for the batter to become crispy and golden; it becomes blonde, doughy and bready instead. They don't drain it properly either, so you end up with soggy fish and soggy chips as well. The staff do not listen, I have told them numerous times that I'd like it to be left in longer (well cooked), but I still get handed my food after less than 5 minutes in the shop each time.
